CRPF Assistant Sub-Inspectors and Head Constables Recruitment

Crpf.nic.in – Central Reserve Police Force Invited applications from eligible male and female candidates for the employment of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (Steno) and Head Constable (Ministerial) posts and released recruitment notification for it. The last date of reaching of applications in the prescribed format given below is 19^th December, 2012. Candidates are advised to read carefully the rest of the employment news for further details.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer): 245 vacancies

Pay Scale           : Rs.5200 - 20200 with grade pay 2800/-

Age Limit            : 18 to 25 years

Educational Qualifications: Intermediate or equivalent certificate with short hand speed @ 80 words per minute + translation.

Head Constable (Ministerial): 895 vacancies

Pay Scale           : Rs.5200 - 20200 with grade pay 2400/-

Age Limit            : 18 to 25 years

Educational Qualifications: Intermediate or equivalent certificate with typing speed @ 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi.

Physical Standards:

Male Candidates:

Height	165 CMs. (Gen / OBC / SC) , 165.5 (ST)
Chest	77 CMs. (Gen / OBC / SC) , 76 (ST)
Weight	Correlation with the height

Female Candidates:

Height	155 CMs. (Gen / OBC / SC) , 154 (ST)
Weight	Correlation with the height

Application Process: candidates found themselves eligible for the above CRPF jobs can download the application format from www.crpf.nic.in. Properly filled in applications along with required copies of certificates and proofs should be sent to any of the 32 CRPF recruitment centers given in the advertisement so as to reach latest by 19^th December, 2012.

CRPF Selection Process:

Phase-1: Document Verification – Physical Measurement – Written Examination

Phase-2: Typing Speed Test – Shorthand Speed Test (ASI/Steno) – Documents Verification – Interview – Medical Examination

Written Test: CRPF written consists of 4 parts i.e. Hindi and English language, General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, and Clerical Aptitude. Each part consists of 50 multiple choice questions and the total exam will be conducted for 200 marks. Qualifying marks are 40% for General and 35% for SC / ST / OBC.
